SEEA and its members, board, stakeholders and funders collaborate to assess the Southeast on an ongoing basis to determine the initiatives that offer the greatest potential for creating prosperous local economies, a healthy and sustainable environment and a higher quality of life for all of our citizens.
Together and in combination, SEEA’s work in each of these areas is designed to create favorable short-term outcomes such as smarter energy policies, stronger local energy codes, resources to upgrade the existing building stock, and opportunities to provide equal access to affordable energy for all communities.
As these outcomes occur, the region is better able to optimize its use of energy, enhance its productivity, and achieve stronger local economies, new job creation, and improved indoor comfort and health for all.
